PRODUCTION AND SHIPPING SCHEDULE
SINGLE VISION: In most instances, a single vision pair of glasses will be delivered in approximately 15 days after the placement of the order.
MULTI-FOCAL: A multi focal pair of glasses (lined bi-focals or progressives) requires three weeks (extra options) for delivery from the date of the order, in most cases.
ADDITIONAL OPTIONS: If you’ve ordered extra options such as tint, anti-reflective coating or a photo chromic lens, this time may be extended by several days. From time to time, procurement of the high index and photo chromic lens blanks may be delayed and the orders may take up to approximately three weeks for single vision and 4 weeks for a progressive, at the outside. This happens rarely, but can occur unexpectedly.

We tend to under promise and over deliver in many instances, but there are things beyond our control which affect delivery schedules (such as random Customs’/FDA inspections, postal misrouting, etc. These are not things over which OOKpikiwearl has any control, nor does OOkpikiwear have any way in which to intervene to expedite the delivery under these circumstances.)

SHIPPING DELAYS: To help assure that your order is delivered timely, it is important that you enter your address correctly. The computer only reads precisely what you’ve entered. It does not capitalize, space or punctuate for you. If you’re having your glasses shipped to a commercial address, you must indicate that the glasses are to be delivered in care of the company name. The Postal Service does not recognize individuals at commercial addresses. If you leave out your street number, or run your address all together, the Postal Service will return the shipment, causing you further delay and expense in receiving your eyeglasses.
PERSONAL MEDICAL CONSIDERATIONS: Please be informed that if you have severe medical conditions and needs which dictate that you have your glasses by a precise date, you are advised, and it is your responsibility, to purchase your eyewear from a source directly in your immediate control. Our prices are available because you are purchasing directly from the manufacturer. This distance, the fact that we ship via the postal service, and all foreign shipments are subject to random Customs and FDA inspections, may create unanticipated delays from time to time, over which OOKpikiwear has no control, nor contingent liability.
Replacement Or Repair Of Damaged Glasses
FRAMES:
You will need your original order number and the size and shape of the frame and lenses. Without these numbers we won’t be able to match the frame to your lenses.
If your frames have broken you can order replacement frames directly from the OOkpik website. If we still stock them in inventory they will be shipped out as soon as possible. To order the frame alone without lenses you follow the site directions as though you are purchasing new prescription glasses but only enter the PD (Pupillary Distance) and not the prescription information. If you’re ordering rimless frames you must enter the original lens shape number so be sure to make a note of these numbers when you first placed the order. When your replacement frame arrives and If you don’t feel you can change the lens yourself, go to a local generic optical shop and they will change the lens for a small charge.
While the order will initially look like it is being charged in full by OOkpik the shopping cart will sense that you have not entered a prescription and only charge 50%. You won’t be ordering tint’s because of course you are not replacing the lenses, but you can order extra pairs of magnetic or clip on sunglasses if your original frames where set up for them. The shipping and handling charge for a replacement frame is a flat fee of $4.50. There is no extra shipping and handling charge on the extra sunglasses or other items shipped with the replacement frames.
After the checkout you must include a note in the customer comments box that this order is for a replacement frame. To verify the correct frame include your initial order number from when you first purchased the glasses.
RETURNS: When OOkpik has sent the proper frame, lenses and colors according to the order but you cannot see properly or you do not like the style or color then OOkpik offers a 30 day warranty period with a 50% refund. Send back the glasses and we will refund a full half of the cost of the order including half the shipping and handling.
If the prescription is wrong or defective as a fault of the lab or OOkpik please send them back to us and we will replace them with the corrected prescription at no cost to the customer, along with free shipping. Note that no changes to the original order can be made other than the correction to the prescription itself.
All Glasses must be returned in the case in which you originally received them along with a note of the order number, reason for the return and a copy of the prescription. This is so we can track mistakes and improve service. It is the responsibility of the customer to properly document returns. Glasses returned after the 30 day warranty date will not be refunded.
